BARRE — An arrest warrant has been issued for a White River Junction woman accused of leaving a large amount of fentanyl in a Montpelier home.

Makiah Curtis, 23, failed to appear for her arraignment Thursday in Washington County criminal court in Barre on a felony count of narcotics possession and a misdemeanor count of reckless endangerment. If convicted, Curtis faces a maximum sentence of six years in prison. Bail on the warrant was set at $1,000.
