Spaulding Football Senior Quarterback

The Crimson Tide's jack of all trades treated Granite City fans to another dazzling showing while leading his team to its second straight victory. A force on offense, defense and special teams, Hoar stepped up during a handful of key situations to propel Spaulding to a come-from-behind 31-14 victory over Oxbow. The Tide fell behind 6-0 late in the first quarter after a methodical 95-yard drive by the Olympians, but Hoar completed a 20-yard touchdown pass to Jamyson Pecor to tie the game. Hoar proceeded to race into the end zone three times before the final whistle, allowing his team to take over the No. 7 position in the Division II standings. Hoar was also a weapon for his squad during a 42-33 win at Mount Abraham and a 28-18 victory at Missisquoi. Spaulding will travel to play BFA-Fairfax at 1 p.m. Saturday before closing out the regular season with games against Milton and Rice.
