U-32 Senior Cross Country Runner
Schrader went head-to-head with some of the fastest racers in New England and refused to back down while placing sixth at the 32nd Annual Woods Trail Run at Thetford Academy. He crossed the line with a 5-kilometer time of 17 minutes, 1.66 seconds to set the pace for the Raiders, who finished second out of 42 teams. Schrader had plenty of scoring assistance from his teammates, with Cyrus Hansen (ninth, 17:06.66), Ben Wetherfield (26th, 18:01.23), Cole Page (35th, 18:14.42) and Wyat Malloy (48th, 18:27.85) helping U-32 reinforce its reputation as a regional powerhouse. Earlier in the season Schrader placed 11th at the Essex Invitational in 17:40.6 in addition to finishing 24th at the Manchester (N.H.) Invitational in 16:28.4. Later this month the Raiders will shoot for their eighth straight Division II championship.
