Support Battah I have called Barre Town my home since 1979. In that time, I have done my best to promote candidates at the local. State and federal level who are committed to representing all citizens, not just the party that is endorsing their candidacy. I look at the political landscape in the town today, and am reminded of the classic movie, "The Wizard of Oz." I am not referring to that crazy TV doctor running for Congress, but I am referring to the guy (or folks) behind the curtain who pull the strings of control by buying elections with their money and power. They dump huge amounts of their time and money to get their candidates elected while never having to roll up their sleeves and courage to run on their own for state office. I'm casting one of my two votes for Melissa Battah because she is a good listener — not just a good talker.
