Ann Wallis Bull MORETOWN — Anne Wallis Bull (87) of Moretown, Vermont passed suddenly in her home on December 1, 2023. A memorial service was held at the Waitsfield United Church of Christ on Sunday, December 10, 2023. A private inurnment will take place in the spring of 2024 at the Waitsfield Common Cemetery in Waitsfield, Vermont. Mrs. Bull was born March 11, 1936 in Columbia, Missouri to Clifford and Marion (Bisbee) Wallis. Anne was a 1958 graduate of Stephens College and the University of Missouri earning a double major with Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Chemistry. She was married to the late Dr. David M. Bull of Worcester, Massachusetts, in July 1960. Mrs. Bull was an accomplished artist in wood sculpture, stone sculpture as well as fiber arts. She was an avid gardener and very active member of the Mountain Gardeners Garden Club. Anne was also a very gifted alto vocalist and sang with the Mad River Chorale and the Waitsfield United Church of Christ Choir for 30 years. Mrs. Bull was also an active church member and respected leader at the Waitsfield United Church of Christ. Anne also completed a 4 year program at the Vermont Academy of Spiritual Training (VAST) in spring of 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Anne Hart of Milton, Vermont and two sons, William Anthony Bull of Sylvan Lake, Michigan and Nathan Wallis Bull of Hermitage, Pennsylvania; and eight grandchildren Chelsea Bull, Michael Hart, Caroline Bull, Jonathan Hart, Kathleen Bull, Megan Bull, Abigail Bull and David Bull. Memorial Contributions can be made in her name to the Waitsfield United Church of Christ Music Ministry.
